Meet Our Staff

Dr. Laura Stock

Dr. Laura Savoie Stock grew up in Paincourtville, Louisiana and attended Louisiana State University. She graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia for 1 year before returning to Louisiana for a position in Donaldsonville. After marrying Edward Stock in 2008 she moved to Baton Rouge and worked in several small animal hospitals. In 2014 she, her husband, and their 3 children moved back to Paincourtville with plans to open Assumption Animal Hospital.
“Opening this practice is a dream come true! I am so grateful to this community for their support and confidence.  While there are good days and bad days, my love for this profession does not waver.  I cannot imagine doing anything else.”
-Laura Stock, DVM

Dr. Lindsey Matirne

Dr. Lindsey was born and raised in a small town north of Lake Charles, LA. Being raised on a ranch, it was only natural that as soon as she was old enough to answer the question “What do you want to be when you grow up?” the answer was always veterinarian!
She started by earning her bachelors degree in agricultural science from McNeese State University, then went on to receive her DVM from Louisiana State University in May of 2021. Not only did she find a great education at McNeese, but also a sugar cane farmin’ husband who has now brought her to the heart of cane country for good. In her free time, you can find her spending time with her husband, Mason, her son Grant and pup dog ‘Brewski’ outside fishing, hiking, kayaking, hunting, or anything outdoors!

“I am so excited for this opportunity to serve the small town community by being their newest veterinarian! Growing up in a small town where everyone knows everyone, I feel right at home here and I look forward to meeting everyone as well as their 4 legged companions!”
– Dr. Lindsey Matirne, DVM

Ed Stock, Office Manager

I grew up outside of Houston, TX. After graduating from Humble High School, I went to LSU and graduated with a BS in Construction Management. I worked for Moore Construction for almost 20 years before Laura and I moved to Paincourtville in 2014. It was an exciting decision when the both of us decided to open our own animal hospital and work together. I was hopeful and thrilled to follow Laura’s dream to have her own practice and raise a family in Assumption Parish. It was one of our best decisions to move back and to put our life savings, love, sweat and tears into our home and Assumption Animal Hospital. It has been a joy working with our staff and serving our clients!

Amanda Hue: I have been a receptionist at AAH since August 2017. I have been married to my husband, Clint, since 2007. We have two beautiful daughters and live in Pierre Part, Louisiana. I have had a love for animals since I was a young girl. I love working with animals and the doctors and staff here. Heather Falsetta: I started working at Assumption Animal Hospital earlier this year and I love it here. I am a receptionist and enjoy the upbeat environment and all the cute animals that come in every day. In my spare time I love spending time with my husband, our daughter and our dog, Lucy.

Savannah Boudreaux

I have been a technician at AAH since December, 2022. My favorite thing to do is cuddle patients and assist in surgery. If you miss me on a day off, I am most likely at home cuddling with my dogs, studying for school, shopping, or spending time with my family, friends, or boyfriend.

Jessika Domingue

Jessika Domingue

I have been a technician for 12 years and I have been with Assumption Animal Hospital since we opened in May, 2017. One day I hope to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine at LSU. If I am not at the clinic, you will find me studying, spending time with my husband, our four kids, or our pets. I also enjoy hunting and fishing or anything outdoors. I cannot wait to meet your pets!

Brittany Bergeron

Brittany Bergeron

I have been the kennel technician at AAH since 2021. Most of my time is spent with the cats and dogs in the back. I have a passion for bathing dogs and spending time with them in the yard. Another thing I find joy in is mowing the grass for the dogs to have a clean yard to play in. When I am not here, I am in my shop, still bathing and loving on dogs. This is my dog Sky and my sisters’ dog, Ruger.
